Cyndi HallOwner / Luthier Age: Experience: Over 20 Years Music & 8 Years Instrument Repairs & Restoration Specialization: String Instruments 661-212-8531cyndi@cyndihallmusic.com Δ About Me CYNDI HALL, Violinist, is a native to Southern California.  Having picked up the violin as an adult, she never dreamed of performing as a professional musician.  Yet through hard work and discipline she found herself performing in her church orchestra after just eight months on her violin.  Within four years she was performing in symphonies, teaching, and pursuing a second Bachelors Degree in music, her first two being a BS in Psychology from California State University, Northridge and an AS degree in Math and Science from College of the Canyons.  Her coaches have included Miwako Watanabe, Diane Gilbert, Leslie Katz and Sharon Cooper. Contact Me ExperienceTeamwork Cyndi has performed in symphonies, orchestras and musical theaters throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties for the past 14 years, including:  Grace Baptist Orchestra,The Masters’ College Orchestra, Santa Clarita Master Chorale Orchestra, LA Valley Symphony, Moorpark Symphony, CSUN Orchestra, Red Cross Benefit Orchestra, Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra, Ventura Baroque Chamber Orchestra, Escape Theater (Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center), and Footworks Youth Ballet Orchestra (Oxnard Performing Arts Center). She can be heard as a studio musician on numerous Fox animated television recordings such as American Dad, Family Guy, Cleveland and King of the Hill, and has performed with the Walter Murphy Orchestra, Ron Jones Influence Orchestra, Seth McFarlane Live to tape variety show. Self Development Cyndi continues to learn about instruments and their history and making taking classes all over the world. Sociality Member of NAMM, Make Music Alliance, Violin Society of America & Local Musicians Union. Outside of music, Cyndi has experience in Medical Management and as a social worker providing services to developmentally disabled adults. She is currently co-founder of Hollywood Impact Studios, a ministry and organization that uses the art of television and film making to transform lives by providing a training ground where Hollywood professionals both teach and mentor incarcerated men within the LA County prison system, in order to identify and develop life skills and individual talents with the result [...]

Sharon CooperOwner / Manager of Sales Age: Experience: Over 20 years Specialization: Violin & String Orchestral Instruments 661-755-9418sharon@cyndihallmusic.com Δ About Me SHARON COOPER, violinist and Violist, is an active freelance musician in southern and central California.  Her first encounter with a violin was at age 5 when her mother, an accomplished pianist, had piano trio rehearsal at the family home.  She was smitten with the violin and has been ever since.  Sharon started lessons at age 7, studied chamber music at San Francisco Conservatory and holds a BA degree in Music from Stanford University.  Her coaches have included Kathleen Lenski, Russell Cantor, David Abel and Jenny Rudin. Contact Me ExperienceTeamwork Sharon has performed throughout California, Arizona, Europe and Australia in numerous recitals, chamber ensembles, theater productions, orchestras and civic events.  She has performed solo works with the following symphonies:  Moorpark, Valley (LA), New Valley, Santa Susana, Antelope Valley and Crestmoor.  Sharon has also been featured soloist with the Channel Islands and Palo Alto chamber orchestras, Ventura Baroque, Santa Maria Philharmonic, Symphony of the Canyons and on KQED Public Television in San Francisco.  Concert series showcasing her solo and chamber recitals include the Mt. Cross (Camarillo), Ojai Art Centre, Lompoc Music Association, Moorpark Orchestra Chamber Series, and the Beethoven festival in Santa Barbara.  Sharon is regularly concertmistress of Cabrillo Music Theatre (Thousand Oaks), and Moorpark Symphony. On a lighter note, Sharon can frequently be heard on the soundtrack of Fox TV's animated features as well as other TV, movie, original cast theater, and numerous diverse musical recordings.  She has performed with David Benoit, Seth MacFarlane, Electric Light Orchestra, Hiroshima, Laura Pursell and the Riders of the Purple Sage.  Her solo violin can be heard emanating from pits of musical theaters in both California and Arizona. Sharon has extensive teaching experience in her own private studio, the masterclass forum and the classroom.  She loves sharing her passion for the violin with players of all ages from early years on their instruments to experienced professionals.  She assists the orchestra conductor at Moorpark College, and upon occasion works at Westlake High School (Thousand Oaks) [...]
