History
Cyndi Hall and Sharon Cooper are local residents and music professionals. As colleagues and friends, we have had many conversations over the years about instruments, teaching, music, retail and more. Those conversations seemed to lead to the same conclusion…there was something missing within our musical retail community – that something was quality service.
Over time, and not much, retail has shifted from a friendly, relational community – there to educate and serve the very community we live in, to a consumer driven, throw away society with little regard for the unique individual or family who walks through that door, or the product.
Our Mission
And so our mission began…to “serve” our local community with quality instruments, education and instruction. We opened our door in 2013 as an online store based in Santa Clarita, California, serving foundations and schools within the LA, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, hand delivering quality, affordable instruments, repairing and renting instruments on a limited basis. We were honest with our abilities and limitations. Everyone was so appreciative and kind to us and frequently told us the service and education they received was invaluable.
Our Growth
Referrals came in, and so we grew! Today, we maintain a physical location in Newbury Park, California by appointment only, in addition to our online shop. We offer musical instrument sales, rentals, repairs, instrument maintenance & care; lessons, coaching and music consulting.
