Christina Burbano-Jeffrey is a Violinist and also teaches Viola, Cello, Piano and music theory. She has played in studio sessions and in many live performances with such prominent artists as Twila Paris, Phil Keaggy, Glass Harp, Yes and traveled to China in 2019 to play violin on a month-long orchestral concert tour. She holds a bachelor of music degree in violin performance with minor areas of study in composition, viola, piano and voice. She earned her master’s degree in Ethnomusicology from Arizona State University where she taught lessons on a Yaqui reservation, recorded musicians playing Yaqui the music of traditional deer dance and Easter celebrations and created instructional videos to preserve the tradition for teaching to future generations. In addition to private lessons, Christina has taught group instrumental and vocal music in public and private schools. She currently is in demand as a teacher and performer throughout the Los Angeles area and has experience in classical, church, mariachi, country, rock and jazz settings.
Jim Jeffrey is a Guitarist and also teaches Electric Bass, Ukulele, Banjo, Mandolin, Music Theory, Music Production and Composition/Songwriting. Jim holds a Master of Fine Arts in Performer-Composer from California Institute of the Arts where he taught guitar for the guitar department. Jim regularly performs and composes in many styles of music ranging from classical and jazz to rock and experimental music and is the director of the SCVYO Guitar Orchestra with the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra and previously taught with the Community Arts Partnership Program. Having worked on many records for major and independent labels Jim understands both sides of the recording studio and regularly works on recording projects for various artists. Labels that Jim has credit on include Virgin, Columbia, Heartcore and Metal God Records.
Jim is available for studio and live projects as well as clinics and private lessons.
